Our Expert Team



A native of Minnesota, Dr. Johnson spent her childhood in California, attended Vassar College in New York, and M.I.T. in Massachusetts. The family later moved to Oklahoma to enable her to attend OSU veterinary school. Dr. Johnson founded Lincoln County Animal Hospital in 1986, with the desire to offer outstanding animal care to the community.

Dr. Johnson's interests have always been family animal welfare, and community service. She is also a master gardener.

Dr. Johnson's husband of forty-five years is a professor at OSU in the Engineering Department. All their four children are OSU graduates: two of them have gone on to medical careers, one pursued a career in software and another pursued a career in the legal field.

Dr. Johnson is also very passionate about her seven grandchildren with whom she spends as much time as she can.

She currently resides in Chandler, OK, with her husband and their two lovely Siamese cats, Cashew and Pistachio.
